Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is a broadcast journalist in the US. She is most well-known as the anchor for CNN's morning show At This Hour. Bolduan was previously the co-host of the CNN morning program New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan participated in CNNs prize-winning coverage of the 2012 presidential election and the 2016 election. Bolduan was a correspondent from Washington, DC who covered the activities of both the US House of Representatives and Senate. Bolduan was a part of the Capitol Hill Unit and reported on legislative and congressional activities, including the discussions to raise the limit of federal loans and the debates of the supercommittee. Bolduan was a correspondent for general assignments and has covered such stories like that of the Christmas Day 2009 bombing, the landmark Supreme Court decision on Obamacare or the government stimulus plan in 2009. She was appointed a CNN New source national correspondent in the year 2007. She provided features, breaking news reports and more to nearly 800 CNN New Source affiliates as a national reporter. In the past, she was a reporter for NBC News MSNBC and WTVD-TV. Her family lives in New York City.
